Marsala Fine D.O.P.
A fortified Marsala is aged a minimum of 1 year. It is wine made in Marsala, Sicily, in the south of Italy. This wine is processed in the same way sherry is, by aging in a succession of smaller casks. Like port wine, Marsala wine is fortified by adding brandy, which enables it to keep for months at room temperature after opening.
This SWEET Marsala is best used for cooking and baking. For your favorite recipe of chicken or veal marsala or use it for a superb tiramisu or zabaglione. Sip it at the end of your meal and you will enjoy the sweetness of the molasses and caramel.
